APOPHYSIS
APOPHYSIS is a visual collection of analogue photos I shot in between 2019 and
2024, which I then transformed using digital means. The series blends and
questions the concepts of past, present and future, photography and painting.
Transcending reality, it restructures the notion of what a photograph is and what
beauty looks like.
Swimming against the current, in an era of fast-paced maniacal consumption,
APOPHYSIS forces you to stop and think, retreat within yourself in order to better
exist within the art you are consuming. A process which is the cornerstone of
abstract art and photography.
